Due to the bad weather, nothing happened for many days. March appeared from its cloudy and rainy side. Even though I could already use a cloud gap longer than expected on march 2nd, it is not quite effective. Even today, on the 16th, it did not really work well. Unfortunately I have chosen a very weak target with the IC2574 galaxy.
So far only 3 hours of luminance have come together. A part of it I had to capture with bright moon and hazy sky. My goal for this galaxy is 9 hours of luminance and just as long RGB as I would like to get the surrounding cirrus. In the the current status it is already visible. Here is the unprocessed luminance level today. The background is blotchy - but this is actually the IFN, as I could see when comparing with an other image.
As the haze grew stronger and stronger during the night, I gave it to up and went to the cone nebula NGC 2264, which shinea brightly in H-alpha and which I could then image for 2 hours.
