Lynds Dark Nebula (LDN) 1235 is a dark nebula in the constellation Cepheus. Probably it is an Extended Red Emissions nebula (ERE - a type of photoluminescence associated with dust particles that are bombared by high energy UV radiation).
The blue reflection nebulae you see in this image are Van den Bergh (vdB) 149 and 150. North is upper left.
